Directed by Sam Hargrave, known for his work on the "Extraction" franchise, "Matchbox" stars John Cena as Sean, a former small-town kid who has become an undercover CIA agent and an apparent super agent and automobile expert. His unexpected return home quickly reunites him with his childhood friends. However, this reunion takes a perilous turn as they are pulled into a dangerous international mission aimed at preventing a global catastrophe. The plot thickens when the group finds themselves held prisoner on a cargo jet, with Sean being interrogated by a villain seeking a nuclear warhead, forcing the friends to work together to avert a worldwide disaster and rediscover their bond.
