The season concluded with Mark recovering from a harrowing confrontation with the formidable Viltrumite Conquest (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a battle that saw his girlfriend Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) and half-brother Oliver (Christian Convery) nearly killed. Fortunately, Eve's remarkable powers enabled her to rebuild her body and incapacitate Conquest, saving both herself and Mark. Mark also faced the multiversal villain Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), who orchestrated the "Invincible War" by recruiting evil Invincibles from alternate realities to attack Earth.
