Horror Unveiled: Adopting Teacher Accused of Murdering, Abusing Toddler
A distressing trial has commenced at Preston Crown Court, revealing a harrowing campaign of abuse that led to the death of a 13-month-old baby boy, Preston Davey. Jamie Varley, 37, a secondary school teacher and one of Preston's prospective adoptive parents, stands accused of murder along with 25 other charges relating to sexual and physical mistreatment. His partner, John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, faces charges including allowing the death of a child and four other offences.
