Music executive and talent manager Soso Soberekon recently celebrated his much-anticipated wedding to his bride, Princess Ebiere of the Gbaramatu Kingdom, in a lavish ceremony held in Warri, Delta State, on a Saturday. The beautifully decorated venue offered guests a glimpse of the elegant setting prepared for the couple's big day.
Ahead of the festivities, Soberekon amused social media users with humorous claims regarding his wedding preparations. He joked about flying all his wedding souvenirs in a private jet without passengers, and similarly claimed that drinks for the wedding would arrive from London in another private jet. He further added, humorously, that all his wedding guests would be flown in on private jets, drawing laughter at the seemingly over-the-top arrangements.
The traditional bride price payment for Ebiere took place on the preceding Wednesday in Benikrukru Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, witnessed by family members, friends, and associates. Tagged as 'Sobeau2026', the grand wedding ceremony was a star-studded affair, attracting numerous well-known personalities from various fields.
Nigerian singers Timi Dakolo and 2Baba serenaded the couple with heartfelt love songs as they exchanged marital vows, marking a celebration of love and heritage. Among the notable celebrities in attendance were E-Money, Iyabo Ojo, Ini Edo, Kcee, Peggy Ovire, Harrysong, Teni, Uzee Usman, Oritsefemi, and Iyanya. Prominent figures from other sectors also graced the event, including businessman and Chairman of the Hilary Ibegbulem Foundation, Hilary Ibegbulem; Cubana Chief Priest; the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Ebonyi State, Ifeanyi Odii; the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Dennis Otuaro; and former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick.
