Fleetwood Mac Legend Lindsey Buckingham Attacked in Santa Monica

Lindsey Buckingham, the acclaimed rock musician, was reportedly attacked by a woman on his way to an appointment in Santa Monica, California. Law enforcement sources informed NBC4 Investigates that the incident occurred as Buckingham entered a building, where the woman allegedly threw an unknown substance at him before fleeing the scene. Authorities suspect the assailant had prior knowledge of Buckingham's appointment time and location, lying in wait for his arrival. The suspect is reportedly known to Buckingham due to previous encounters, according to law enforcement. While no arrests have been made at present, police anticipate an arrest will occur soon. Billboard has sought further information from Buckingham's representatives and the Santa Monica and Los Angeles police departments.
