Fans Crown Madonna & Sabrina Carpenter's 'Bring Your Love' as New Music Favorite!

The highly anticipated collaboration between pop icon Madonna and rising star Sabrina Carpenter, titled “Bring Your Love,” has claimed the top spot in this week’s best new music poll, conducted by Billboard. The track, released on Friday, May 1, overwhelmingly won listeners' favor, amassing an impressive 88.99% of the total votes by the poll’s closing on Sunday. This significant win placed “Bring Your Love” ahead of other notable releases from artists such as Zara Larsson, Kacey Musgraves, and Bella Poarch, as well as a new soundtrack for the blockbuster film, The Devil Wears Prada 2.
“Bring Your Love” is designed for the dancefloor, crafted to transport listeners into a transcendent state. The duo first unveiled the single during Madonna’s surprise appearance at Carpenter’s recent Coachella set, subsequently releasing the official studio version alongside a vibrant visualizer that prominently displays the song's lyrics in bold text. The track’s verses feature powerful declarations from both artists, including lines like “Don’t comment on my ideas/ I don’t want your judgment or your expectations” and “Don’t rely on my moral compass/ Or my discretion, I have a confession.” The impactful chorus reinforces this theme: “Bring your love ’cause you cannot shake me/ Bring your love ’cause you’ll never break me/ Bring your love ’cause you cannot take me down.”
Madonna co-produced “Bring Your Love” with her long-term collaborator Stuart Price, who previously worked on her critically acclaimed 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor, and has served as musical director for several of her tours. This new release coincides with other exciting news for Madonna fans; a teaser for her upcoming album, Confessions II, was shown in movie theaters over the weekend, playing before screenings of The Devil Wears Prada 2. The promotional spot featured Madonna alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour, hinting at confessions due on July 3.
Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is proving to be a box office hit, opening with $77 million in North America and an additional $156.6 million overseas, achieving a global total of $233.6 million. Among the other new music releases that trailed “Bring Your Love” in the Billboard poll were Bella Poarch’s single “Ribcage,” Zara Larsson’s album Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, and Kacey Musgraves’ album Middle of Nowhere.
