ENHYPEN's 'THE SIN: VANISH' Crowned Favorite New Music by Fans

ENHYPEN’s new mini concept album, THE SIN: VANISH, has claimed the top spot in Billboard’s latest fan-voted music poll. Published on Friday, January 16, the septet’s cinematic collection, deeply rooted in vampire mythology, emerged as the favorite new music release among fans. The album’s launch coincided with a week that also saw new music from prominent artists including Madison Beer, A$AP Rocky, Mitski, and Megan Moroney.
Support for ENHYPEN’s 11-track work was overwhelming, with fans casting votes that secured a commanding win, totaling 68% of the vote. The album features contributions from members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-Ki, with the lead track, Knife, standing out as the centerpiece. Notably, THE SIN: VANISH is available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese-language versions, catering to the group’s global audience.
A Cinematic and Immersive Narrative Experience
Described in a press statement as ENHYPEN’s “most immersive and narratively driven chapter to date,” THE SIN: VANISH is an experimental work of art. The album explores a world of vampire lovers, delving into “the fragile balance between desire and consequence in a world bound by unbreakable rules” through a combination of music and narration. While the full narrative is best experienced from start to finish, the lead track Knife—symbolizing the beginning of the lovers’ escape—was highlighted with a dedicated music video released on the same day.
Trailing behind ENHYPEN in the fan poll were Madison Beer’s locket with 20% of the vote, A$AP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb at 4%, and Mitski’s Where’s My Phone? with 2%. These results underscore the group’s strong global fan engagement and the widespread appeal of their latest musical project.
