Habeeb Hamzat, widely recognized online as Peller, a prominent Nigerian content creator and streamer, has announced a forthcoming visit to TikTok's office in the United Kingdom next week. Peller shared this significant development during a livestream, expressing gratitude to his expansive follower base for facilitating his recognition by the global platform. He articulated his intention to leverage this opportunity to address critical issues pertinent to African users, including the operational nuances of TikTok on the continent and challenges faced by banned accounts. Emphasizing the magnitude of this invitation, Peller conveyed his appreciation, stating, "Guys, God bless you all so much. You’ve made TikTok recognise me, and TikTok has invited me to its office in the UK next week. You’ve taken me to another level. I love you all so much. This is huge! I haven’t even gained that many followers yet; I’m just getting started. Don’t worry, when I get there, I’ll tell them everything about Africa, how TikTok operates in Africa, and all the banned accounts. I have a lot to tell them."
The 21-year-old creator has amassed a substantial audience, exceeding 17 million followers on TikTok, primarily through his engaging livestreams and diverse entertainment content. Peller previously disclosed an unconventional start to his TikTok journey, revealing that he acquired his account for N100,000 when it had approximately 30,000 followers. Through consistent content creation and frequent livestreams, he has since exponentially grown the account to its current multi-million follower count.
Beyond his digital achievements, Peller has also garnered attention in his personal life this year. In August, he formalized his union with fellow content creator Jarvis, whose birth name is Amadou Aminata, in a white wedding ceremony held in Lagos. He continues to maintain a strong presence on TikTok, with his livestreams and collaborations with other prominent personalities consistently attracting large audiences. While Peller has publicly announced this invitation, TikTok has yet to issue a public confirmation or release specific details regarding the planned visit to its UK office. Concurrently, TikTok has been actively expanding its operations and workforce within the United Kingdom.
