She performed popular songs like “Paint The Town Red,” “Woman,” “Streets,” “Need to Know,” and “Jealous Type.”

During her set, she took a moment to thank the audience, saying;

“This is my first time in Africa… I love you… thank you so much Rwanda.”The crowd cheered loudly in response.

DJ IRAA also performed, bringing great energy and adding to the celebration of both international and local music.

Move Afrika is more than just a music show, it’s becoming something bigger.

Hugh Evans, CEO of Global Citizen, says the goal is to create a touring circuit across Africa that brings international artists while creating jobs.

This means more opportunities for local vendors, crews, and others in the creative industry, and according to him, the journey starts in Kigali, a perfect place to kick things off.

Now in its third year, the Move Afrika initiative continues to grow and bring exciting music and culture across Africa.

Over the years, it has featured big stars like John Legend, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Stormzy, and Tems, performing in cities like Lagos, Accra, and Johannesburg.

After a successful stop in Kigali, the tour is now heading to Pretoria on March 20. It continues to connect people, celebrate African music, and support growth across the continent.
