Crisis Erupts: PENGASSAN Halts Gas, Crude Supply to Dangote Refinery Over Union Dispute!
A significant dispute has erupted between the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, culminating in PENGASSAN issuing a directive for an immediate halt to all gas and crude oil supplies to the refinery. This decisive action was taken in response to the refinery's disengagement of several PENGASSAN members, which the union views as a punitive measure against workers exercising their constitutional right to unionize.
