Kaizer Chiefs extended their winning streak to four matches with a commanding 2–0 victory over TS Galaxy in a Betway Premiership clash at FNB Stadium on Sunday, strengthening their push for CAF Confederation Cup qualification.

The win moved Chiefs to 42 points from 22 matches, consolidating third place and opening a three-point gap over fourth-placed AmaZulu with two games in hand.

Chiefs dominated early proceedings, creating multiple chances through quick passing and aggressive wing play. Their breakthrough came in the 35th minute following a well-worked move down the right flank, with a close-range header giving the hosts a deserved lead after sustained pressure.

Chiefs maintained control after the break despite a temporary suspension in the 65th minute due to a highveld storm that forced a 30-minute delay for floodlights to be activated.

The hosts doubled their advantage in the 75th minute through a swift counter-attack, finishing from long range into an empty net after the goalkeeper advanced off his line.
