Australian indie rock band The Whitlams have announced their upcoming “Return to Rock Island” tour, a nine-show East Coast run scheduled for October. This tour is deliberately designed by frontman Tim Freedman to be “wildly different” from their recently concluded and highly successful Orchestral ’26 tour, which saw the band perform sold-out orchestral shows across major venues like Sydney’s State Theatre and Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.
