Atiku Alleges Presidency Fabricating Statements In Smear Campaign

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has leveled serious accusations against the Presidency, alleging a sophisticated campaign of propaganda and disinformation aimed at discrediting and ridiculing opposition leaders in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. In a statement released on Thursday in Abuja by his Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, Atiku's camp asserted that the Presidency is actively sponsoring a “faceless mercenary” identified as Kola Johnson, who has been consistently circulating fabricated press releases under Atiku’s name.
Ibe expressed profound concern over the activities of this “self-styled ‘media consultant,’ one Kola Johnson,” issuing statements purported to be from the former Vice President. Investigations, according to Atiku's team, indicate that Johnson is being directly sponsored by the Tinubu administration.
