Star Actress Adesua Etomi Celebrates Milestone Birthday Amid Heartfelt Messages

Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington recently celebrated her 40th birthday on February 22, 1986, receiving warm tributes from her mother, Pastor Eniiwaju Etomi, and close friend and Fellow Actress Bisola Aiyeola.

Her mother, Pastor Eniiwaju Etomi, a Civil Engineer turned Cleric, shared a series of heartfelt Instagram posts featuring throwback photos of Adesua from childhood to her wedding, her doctorate graduation, and other family milestones.

She wrote:

“Happy 40th birthday to my baby girl. We bless God for your life, for His presence, His love, His care and His faithfulness these 40 years. Your paths will yet shine brighter, and your life will continually glorify God. Happy 40th birthday my love and thank you for being a good child.”

In another post, she added:

“Happy 40th birthday Dr Mrs Adesua Etomi-Wellington. God bless you more and more in Jesus name.”

Close friend and colleague Bisola Aiyeola also celebrated Adesua’s milestone with a vibrant Instagram message. She affectionately referred to her as a “sister,” “Woman of Grace,” “pastor Mrs,” and “Fun Human,” humorously welcoming her to the “4th floor” with the comment:

“I’ve been waiting for you 😂😂😂😂.”

Bisola extended prayers for unimaginable blessings, good health, and wealth in all that Adesua touches, wishing that the “sunshine” she radiates continues to shine even brighter.

Adesua, born on February 22, 1986, is celebrated for her compelling performances in films like “Knocking on Heaven’s Door,”“Falling,” and the critically acclaimed “The Wedding Party.”

She won Best Actress in a Drama at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in Falling.

Beyond acting, she engages in advocacy and public speaking.

She married singer and politician Banky W in 2017, and the couple have two children together.

Her mother, Pastor Eniiwaju Etomi, serves as an assistant provincial pastor in CSR Region 5 of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in the UK and as senior pastor of Holy Ghost Zone Parish in Hillfields, Coventry, a role she has held since 2002.

She is actively involved in volunteering with youth offending services and supporting black ethnic minority communities, including activities linked to Coventry’s UK Cityof Culture 2021 bid.

She is the proud mother of Tosin, Temitayo, and Adesua Etomi-Wellington.
