The highly anticipated animated sequel, Zootopia 2, is expanding its star-studded cast with the addition of Andy Samberg, Macaulay Culkin, Brenda Song, and David Straithairn. These four actors are set to voice members of the powerful and influential Lynxley family, a new addition to the bustling mammalian world. The film is slated for release in theaters on November 26, 2025, promising a Thanksgiving treat for audiences.

David Straithairn, known for his role in The Bourne Ultimatum,will portray Milton, the patriarch and a distinguished business-mammal of the Lynxley family. Macaulay Culkin, the star of Home Alone, will voice the eldest son, Cattrick. Brenda Song, recognized for The Last Showgirl, will play Kitty, the family's middle child and only daughter. Andy Samberg, from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, rounds out the family as Pawbert, the affable youngest member. This project marks another collaboration for real-life husband and wife, Culkin and Song, who have previously worked together on Song's Netflix comedy, Running Point.

The plot of Zootopia 2 will see the return of rookie rabbit cop Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and her partner, the vulpine conman Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman), who has now officially joined the police force. Their new challenge involves uncovering the mystery behind Gary De'Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan), a sentient reptile whose existence in a mammal-exclusive world poses a significant conundrum. Judy and Nick will delve into a new, unexplored side of Zootopia, while also working on their partnership with the help of "therapy animal" Dr. Fuzzby (voiced by Quinta Brunson).

The sequel welcomes back a host of beloved characters and their original voice actors, including Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, Nate Torrence, Bonnie Hunt, Don Lake, Tommy Chong, Alan Tudyk, and Shakira. Newcomers joining the already impressive voice cast include Fortune Feimster, Jean Reno, Patrick Warburton, and Wilmer Valderrama. Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, with Bush also writing the script. Howard co-directed the original film, and Bush co-wrote its script.
