Bachelor Nation and The Traitors alum is adding one more reality show to his repertoire. The TV personality is set to appear on NBC’s new travel competition, Destination X, where contestants are sequestered on a blacked-out bus and must use clues to figure out their location each week. As players guess their location, the person whose guess is the farthest away from their actual coordinates is sent home.

Peter and Love Island alum are set to join the competition later in the season and “change the course of the game.” Ahead of his debut, In Touch breaks down everything fans need to know about Peter.

Peter made his reality TV debut on The Bachelorette season 15 (’s season) in 2019, where he came in third place. He made a guest appearance on Bachelor in Paradise season 6 that year. Peter then starred on The Bachelor season 24 in 2020 and got engaged to , although the pair split by the time the finale aired.

In 2024, Peter competed on The Traitors season 2 and came in ninth place.

Before his reality TV career, Peter was a child actor and appeared in an episode of Days of Our Lives.

After The Bachelor, Peter moved on with Bachelor contestant . The two dated on and off until April 2023. The pair reunited again in April 2025 for Coachella, although they seemingly attended the event as friends, as Peter referred to Kelley in a video as his “ex.”

Peter told People in February 2025 that he was “still looking for The One.”

“You can’t ever force it, but I have faith in due time that’ll work out,” he said. “I never lost faith, so I know it’ll happen soon, and I’m just enjoying the journey along the way.”

Peter attended Baylor University and left before graduating in order to pursue a career as a pilot. He became a commercial pilot for Compass Airlines in 2015 and worked for the company for three years before becoming an airline transport pilot for Delta Airlines in 2018. Peter later left Delta Airlines in May 2021, moving on to work as a pilot for United Airlines.

Fans of The Bachelor know Peter as “Pilot Pete” because of his piloting background. Careers in air travel run in his family, as his father, , is a former pilot, and his brother, , is also a pilot. Meanwhile, Peter’s mom, , is a former flight attendant.

Peter often shares glimpses into his life flying planes on his Instagram, including photos from the cockpit and more. In one February 2025 post, he shared a throwback photo of himself wearing a pilot’s outfit as a child and wrote, “This guy gets to fly to Hong Kong for the first time tonight.”

Peter was born on August 4, 1991, in Fairfax, Virginia, making him 33 years old as of June 2025.

In April 2025, Peter shared the trailer for Destination X on his Instagram and called the show “hands down the most incredible adventure of [his] life so far.”

New episodes of Destination X air on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC and stream the following day on Peacock.
