NBC’s new competition series, Destination X, premiered on May 27, 2025, with 10 contestants traveling on a blacked-out bus as they gathered clues to figure out where they were located. Fans saw Big Brother alum head home in the first episode after he failed to place his X close enough to the correct location on the map, but he’s not the only reality TV personality who will be joining the game this season. Later on, The Bachelor’s and Love Island’s will join the bus and “change the course of the game.”

In Touch breaks down everything fans need to know about JaNa ahead of her debut on the reality show.

Before she joined Destination X, JaNa spent the summer of 2024 filming Love Island USA season 6 in Fiji. She entered the Villa on Day 1 and ultimately came in third place with on Day 32. JaNa and Kenny are still together today, one year after the season aired on Peacock.

“You know what’s so crazy? When it first came out, it didn’t hit me,” JaNa told Us Weekly of her lasting love connection with Kenny. “The first six months outside the villa, I don’t think it hit me. But now that it’s settled down and season 7 is coming, I was like, ‘My gosh, I did that last summer.’”

The couple is expected to appear on Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which premieres later in 2025. They’re also planning to travel for their one-year anniversary.

“There’s a trip. There’s a trip planned. They’re in the works,” Kenny said. “That’s all I can say. She’s dropping subtle hints.”

JaNa teased, “I asked him if we could go to Italy for our one-year, so.”

JaNa currently lives in Las Vegas, according to her NBC bio. However, she describes herself as a “military brat” and grew up in various places around the world, “from Kailua, Hawaii, to Okinawa, Japan.” According to her Instagram, she has since traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Turks and Caicos, the Virgin Islands, Tokyo and more.

JaNa is a “day trader and content creator,” according to her NBC bio. She sometimes posts videos on her YouTube channel, but fans can most often find her content on Instagram and TikTok. Her posts revolve around her travels, her partnerships with brands like Maybelline and Shea Moisture, her romance with Kenny and more.

JaNa was born on December 13, 1996, in Hawaii, according to Famous Birthdays, making her 28 years old as of June 2025.

In a cast teaser for Destination X, JaNa said she’s “actually a sore loser” and “needs to win” the show to “help [her] ego.” Later, she said she “likes the idea of mind games” and that she’s “usually really good at winging it.”

“Other things I don’t know, I’ll probably just wing it,” she added.
