It feels like yesterday when Selena Gomez took over the internet by flexing a giant rock on her finger to announce her engagement with Benny Blanco. And now reports are doing the rounds that this madly in love couple is all set to take the next step in their relationship.
Reportedly, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have decided to take the big leap of faith and tie the knot in holy matrimony.
Though the couple hasn’t made any official public announcement regarding the dates, according to The Daily Mail, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco will have an intimate ceremony, which will include a two-day wedding celebration in California this September. The report further states that the couple has already sent out invites via email.
According to the invite, the guests have been asked to carry overnight bags, hinting at a weekend-long celebration in Montecito.“Selena and Benny’s wedding is going to be a two-day event in Montecito in September. Everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend," says the report.Further, as confirmed by a source, late summer is considered the perfect season for Selena since she will have completed her work obligations and can completely immerse herself in the festivities.
While the official guest list is still confidential, it has been suggested that attendees will likely include major celebrities such as Taylor Swift and her partner Travis Kelce, as well as Gomez’s co-stars from ‘Only Murders’ in the Building and friends from Benny Blanco’s music scene.
In 2023, Selena and Benny made their relationship public. Since then, they have been giving strong couple goals to lovebirds around the world. A year later, in December 2024, the couple got engaged, and Selena didn’t keep it calm with her diamond ring, which shone on every social media page and platform.Sources earlier revealed that Selena has always felt safe and grounded with Benny and dreams of being married to him for life.
