French musician Stafford Roméo Souverin, popularly known as Romeomania, is spreading the message of true love using his latest album, titled V.A.R. (True Love Resists), as his number one tool.

From the start of his solo career, Romeomania has built a strong followership among Francophone African audiences, especially in Abidjan, where he is seen as a rising figure in Afrobeat. His collaborations with artists like Shado Chris, Rico Amaj, and Nigerian star. Mike Alabi on the hit “OGA” showcase his ability to fuse Caribbean rhythms with urban Afro sounds.

Launched into the music market on November 22, 2024, VAR comprises 11 tracks and explores the many facets of love through stories that are both intimate and universal.

Each track on the V.A.R album captures an emotion, a moment, or a state of mind: “Dans mes bras”, while a duet with his 10-year-old daughter Romanda, expresses the tenderness of family love.

Romanda reflects on the pain of a family separation. Comme “Avant” and “À Deux” explore romantic nostalgia and the hope of rekindled love.
