Mumbai: Videos showing water on the Mumbai Coastal Road's northbound carriageway — near the Breach Candy exit ramp — went viral on social media, raising concerns about flooding amidst the city's intermittent rains.
However, civic officials clarified that the water seen on the road was not due to accumulation or drainage failure, but rather seawater splashing during high tide. The BMC pointed out that a high tide of 4.73 meters was warned at 1:40 PM on Friday. tnn
