Viral Outrage: Mum's 'Diabetes-Inducing' Grocery Haul Stuns Internet with 32 Pizzas & 14 Blocks of Cheese

A mother-of-three, known on TikTok as @boymomx3_b, faced brutal criticism online after sharing a video of her extensive grocery haul, which prominently featured 32 frozen pizzas and more than a dozen blocks of cheese. The now-viral clip showcased a "mega pile" of food intended for her three sons and her parents, who had recently moved in with her.

The US-based mother, a 37-year-old full-time worker from North Carolina, explained that she had visited four different stores to accumulate the provisions for her fridge and pantry. Her haul included not only the staggering number of pizzas and 14 blocks of various cheeses, but also two large boxes of mini brownies, a huge pack of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, a big box of Oatmeal Cream Pies, several cereal bars, tea, five large bags of frozen fries, two big jars of mayonnaise, nine large bottles of sugary fizzy drinks, and multiple packs of Oreos and other sugary cereals.

In stark contrast to the vast quantities of processed and sugary items, the fresh produce section of her haul was notably sparse, comprising just two cucumbers, one head of lettuce, a bag of grapes, a bunch of bananas, and a huge watermelon. The mother humorously remarked, "We took all they had," referring to clearing the frozen aisle of the popular pizza dish.

The shopping trip amounted to a grand total of $476.68 (£352.33). The mother expressed her dismay over the cost in the video's caption, lamenting, "Why do groceries have to cost so much." She noted that this bill was "a little bit less than last time" even though they left many items off their list because they hadn't run out.

However, viewers were less concerned with the price and more "gobsmacked" by what they perceived as a "diabetes-inducing" diet. The video, which amassed over 5 million views, ignited a firestorm of comments. One user exclaimed, "NINEEEE bottles of soda THIRTY TWOO pizzas and like two cucumbers is wild." Another wrote, "Diabetes is around the corner." Critics pointed out the severe imbalance, with one commenting, "2 cucumbers, 1 head of lettuce, 1 watermelon, 1 bag of grapes, 1 bunch of bananas. You spent nearly $500 on groceries, and only bought 6 pieces of fresh produce," adding, "You bought more bottles of dr pepper than you did vegetables."

In response to the wave of negative comments, the mother offered a simple and defiant message to her detractors: "Don’t watch then."
