Unraveling the Truth: Charlie Kirk's Assassination Timeline and Killer's Dark Online Footprint

Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old, was arrested on Thursday in connection with the assassination of 31-year-old conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Kirk was reportedly killed on Wednesday while speaking at a university event in Utah. Authorities stated that Robinson shared intricate details of the killing's aftermath through an online chatroom, identified as Discord, a platform also known for gaming. A roommate confirmed that Robinson discussed the engravings on the bullets and his movements after the incident on this online platform.

Investigators revealed that Robinson posted messages on Discord indicating his need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point. He also allegedly described wrapping the rifle he used in a towel and stashing it in a bush. Furthermore, Robinson detailed that he utilized a scope and changed outfits following the shooting. Utah Governor Spencer Cox provided additional information regarding the peculiar engravings found on the bullets used in the assassination.

One bullet was inscribed with the phrase 'Notices bulge OwO, what’s this?', a meme known for trolling 'furries' and transgender people, with 'OwO' representing a wide-eyed face of surprise and 'notices bulge' referring to the male appendage. Another engraving read 'Hey Fascists! Catch', accompanied by an up arrow, a right arrow, and three downward arrows. These symbols could be a reference to the Iron Front, a paramilitary group that opposed the Nazi Party. Social media users have also drawn parallels to the video game 'Helldivers 2', where a specific airstrike code involves similar arrow inputs.

A third bullet was engraved with lyrics from 'Bella Ciao', a prominent Italian anti-fascist song dedicated to the Italian resistance against Nazism, which gained recent popularity from the Netflix series 'Money Heist'. The final unfired casing reportedly bore the inscription: 'If you read this you are gay LMAO', with LMAO being an internet acronym for 'laughing my ass off'. Robinson was eventually turned over to the police by his father and a minister in southern Utah, following the dissemination of images of a person of interest by authorities.

Officials indicated that Robinson had become more politically active in recent years. Governor Cox confirmed that Robinson had discussed Charlie Kirk's visit to Utah Valley University with a family member, expressing his dislike for Kirk and his viewpoints, and allegedly stating at dinner that 'Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate'. Robinson arrived on the UVU campus driving a gray Dodge Challenger, dressed in a maroon T-shirt, light-colored shorts, and a black hat, an outfit consistent with what he was wearing when detained. FBI Director Kash Patel lauded the capture as 'historic', bringing the manhunt to a close within 33 hours. President Donald Trump has since called for the death penalty for Kirk's killer, describing Kirk as the 'finest person'. Kirk, a father of two, was known for his strong MAGA views and engaging in debates with college students nationwide.
