A Ugandan musician is gaining a huge following on social media courtesy of his unique act featuring his father.

Going by Dexter Rapper, the singer is gaining followers and getting called up for gigs, with his father in tow.

The two, from Uganda's Kasese District, first made waves when a video showed the father and son rhythmically shaking their waists while performing.

They have since graced different platforms to perform and were even invited to entertain guests at a wedding.

A recent TikTok video by the rapper depicted him and his father bringing the wedding to a standstill.

The video, with 4.2 million views, shows the musician in a white shirt and black trousers at the venue, which had white and yellow décor.

Dexter tucked in his shirt as the crowd watched with anticipation.

His middle-aged father then walked into the venue and headed to the stage.

Dexter's father was formally dressed and looked neat, with his shirt tucked in as usual.

Dexter's smiling dad immediately set the crowd on fire, as the ladies screamed when he rhythmically moved his waist to the beat.
