Towering 7-Foot-6 Tacko Fall Lands Camp Deal with Philadelphia 76ers!

The Philadelphia 76ers have officially announced the signings of three players: Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr., and Saint Thomas. These new additions are expected to join the team's training camp in Camden, New Jersey, later this month, as all three have been signed to Exhibit 10 contracts. This type of contract is a one-year deal that allows teams to convert the deal to a two-way contract, or if the player is waived, they receive a bonus of up to $50,000 if they sign with the team's G League affiliate.

Tacko Fall, a towering 7-foot-6 center, brings a unique physical presence to the roster. His last stint in the NBA was during the 2021-22 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Prior to that, Fall played for the Boston Celtics from 2019 to 2021, where he was notably teammates with current Sixers star Jaylen Brown. Most recently, Fall showcased his talents internationally, playing for the Ningbo Rockets in the Chinese Basketball Association, gaining valuable professional experience.

Jameer Nelson Jr. arrives with a promising background, having demonstrated strong performance in the G League. Last season, playing for the Stockton Kings, he averaged an impressive 18.9 points on 47.5% shooting from the field, along with 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals across 25 games. His connection to the organization runs deep, as his father, Jameer Nelson Sr., holds the position of executive vice president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, adding an interesting familial dynamic to his signing.

Rounding out the trio is Saint Thomas, who spent the previous season with the Sixers' G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. During his time with the Blue Coats, Thomas proved to be a versatile player, averaging 12.5 points on 46.6% shooting, complemented by 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. His familiarity with the Sixers' system through the Blue Coats could provide a smoother transition into the training camp environment.
