The clip captured the continuation of a series of chilling moments after the facemask vendor was shot.
The hawker, who is yet to be identified, was shot at point-blank range by a police officer during the protests led by Albert Omondi Ojwang'.
He had been selling facemasks to protestors after the police teargassed the crowd, when he found himself in a hostile confrontation with the officer along Moi Avenue.
The officer opened fire, leaving him bleeding profusely as he unashamedly walked away from the scene.
Luckily, the hawker was rescued by kindhearted Kenyans, despite the teargas being fired at them.
Together, they demonstrated unity as they carried him through the harsh environment, searching for safety.
They passed through buildings, carrying the injured and profusely bleeding hawker without resting or showing signs of weariness.
At one point, they moved through what appeared to be a clinic, with several civilians watching them compassionately.
Some people recorded the chilling moment with their phones, asking what had happened to the injured man.
His rescuers, however, did not stop to explain, as their priority was to get him to safety and ensure he received medical attention.
Others screamed at the top of their voices, claiming he had been killed — which was not the case. He was in critical condition but still alive.
As they exited the building on their way to the Kenya National Archives, the police began teargassing civilians, causing many to flee in panic.
Still, the compassionate men carrying the injured facemask vendor did not abandon him, even in the face of adversity.
Social media users who watched the video flooded the comment section with mixed reactions following the ordeal.
