Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was thrilled when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) asked her to work with him. However, once Phyllis refused to back down on insisting that her son come along as well, Bill had to get rid of her.

Phyllis knows how important she can be in a job that she is well prepared for, but obviously, Phyllis is in no way prepared to launch any kind of pitches right now. Will Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) hire her anyway?

Phyllis may have gotten her chance to talk to Cane, however she had no real plan to do anything different with any of the companies around her. However, Cane has done a lot of than be completely innocent through all of this. Cane honestly doesn’t see where Phyllis is going with this idea.

Phyllis has not come up with many work ideas that would appeal to Cane and she even upset Amanda Sinclaire (Mishael Morgan). Amanda was furious when Phyllis mentioned hiring her for the company instead of allowing her to remain as Cane’s attorney. Has Phyllis blown her chances at getting a job with Dumas/Cane?

Phyllis believes that she escaped the kidnapping by Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

However, Phyllis hasn’t talked to anyone after. Phyllis is still claustrophobic, Phyllis is still nervous. Phyllis simply cannot get the whole cat and mouse game off her mind.

Phyllis is eager to start a new company and she wants to get even with Billy Abbott. It doesn’t seem that Cane is worried about getting to Billy at all.

Cane felt sorry for Bill after everything that Jill did to him before taking the company from him despite Billy and Phyllis’ plans for Chancellor. Cane has nothing against Billy when it comes to that.

Cane promised to think about giving Phyllis a job, however, might he see through her fasade? Phyllis has become much more about revenge than she is a job. Phyllis wants to make people pay for wrongs that she believes were committed against her. Unfortunately, others don’t always agree with Phyllis when she believes someone has been working against her.

Phyllis truly needs help to get over the ordeal with Martin if she even hopes to be a productive part of the work force again.

Will Phyllis manage to get it together enough to actually start a new job and do her job correctly, Will Cane see that Phyllis has a job that she can stay occupied by and give up her need for revenge? Will Cane refuse to give Phyllis a job until she gets her head straight instead?
