Exciting news, superhero fans! The first animated Iron Man preschool series is coming and it’s expected to be loaded with fun.

Marvel's Iron Man and His Awesome Friends debuts August 11, 2025, on Disney Jr. at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT, and later that day on the Disney Channel. 

The first 10 episodes will be available on Disney+ in the U.S. and on Disney Jr. the following day. Episodes will continue rolling out globally throughout 2025 and 2026.

Here’s everything families can expect from the upcoming series for preschoolers.

Marvel's Iron Man and His Awesome Friends follows three best friends and “super-geniuses”—Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho—as they go on various adventures. This dynamic trio works as a team to solve all kinds of problems. The goal is to protect their city. 

Each of the Iron Friends has their own Iron Suit, helping them fly while also giving them even more strength. Their teamwork, courage, and high-tech suits empower them to save the day and keep their home safe!

The series features Mason Blomberg as Tony Stark (Iron Man), Kapri Ladd as Riri Williams (Ironheart), Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk), Tony Hale as Ultron, Vanessa Bayer as Swarm, and Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man.

Not only is this new preschool series action-packed—it also sounds fabulous! Grammy Award-nominated musician and Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus wrote and performed the series' theme song, “Totally Awesome.” Walt Disney Records dropped the full digital single on all major streaming platforms on June 27, 2025.

Don’t worry if you can’t wait for the series premiere! A batch of animated shorts titled Meet Iron Man and His Awesome Friends will start getting released on July 14, 2025, on Disney Jr., Disney Jr. YouTube, and Marvel HQ YouTube. Plus, all 10 shorts will launch on Disney+ the following day. 

Kids will get to meet the main characters in the series, including Captain America (Sam Wilson), Black Panther (T’Challa), and Iron Spider (Aña Corazon). These heroes team up with the Iron Friends for fun adventures—or to help take down some “super baddies.”

In addition to the shorts and upcoming series, Marvel's Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is part of the “Disney Jr. Let’s Play!” The global campaign is “designed to inspire preschoolers to experience the joy of play through Disney Jr.’s beloved characters and stories,” according to a press release.

Hasbro will release a new line of children’s books and toys based on the series, offering kids an opportunity to make up their own scenarios for the characters they will certainly learn to love. Also releasing on August 15, 2025, is the official soundtrack, featuring seven original songs from the show.
