The decision to continue the series under the "Ted Lasso" banner, rather than as a spin-off, appears to be a deliberate effort to maintain the spirit and identity that made the show a global sensation. Fellow star Brett Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent, also expressed confidence, stating that the new season recaptures much of the magic reminiscent of Season 1.
Sudeikis further indicated that the opening episodes of Season 4 will feature a shorter runtime compared to those in Season 3.
