Taiwan's Creative Content Fest Ignites Global Partnerships, Unveils Diverse Slate of Films

The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) has emerged as a crucial international platform, showcasing Taiwan's burgeoning creative industries through significant new projects and strategic global partnerships. This year's event highlights efforts to propel Taiwanese film, television, and digital entertainment onto the world stage, spearheaded by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) and various production entities.

Spotlight Project: Taiwan Travelogue

Among the highlighted projects is Taiwan Travelogue, a historical drama series under development by World Softest Productions. This adaptation of Taiwanese writer Yang Shuang-zi’s U.S. National Book Award-winning novel explores the relationship between two women amid Japanese colonial rule in 1938 Taiwan. Filming is slated for 2026 across Japan and Taiwan, with a planned Q4 2027 release.

Goodbye My Love: Taiwanese Romantic Comedy

Another exciting announcement is Goodbye My Love, a romantic comedy directed by Yin Chen-hao, reimagining the popular Korean series Do It One More Time. Produced by Calendar Studios, the film follows a homemaker who gets a second chance to transform her life. Production preparations are set for the latter half of next year.

Strategic Global Partnerships

TAICCA further reinforced Taiwan's global ambitions by unveiling key industry partnerships:

  • Co-production with Japan’s K2 Pictures Inc. to enhance co-investment, co-production, and content financing, bringing renowned filmmakers to Taiwan.

  • Digital Games Fund with Lunta Ventures, supporting original Taiwanese game IP from development to commercialization.

  • MOUs with Japan’s TOHAN and Korea’s CLB to promote Taiwanese comics internationally.

Through these projects and collaborations, TCCF continues to position Taiwan as a dynamic hub for Asian creative content, driving both artistic innovation and global market expansion.
