When Touchmark colleagues reflect on Alison Bouchard’s time with the company, they think of her passion for marketing and her many accomplishments.

In 2015, just three years after starting there, she rose from the position of marketing assistant to marketing coordinator. In that role, Bouchard manages advertising contracts, budgets and vendor relationships.

She was then promoted to wellness and marketing project manager in 2017, marketing manager in 2019 and director of marketing — the company’s top marketing position — in 2022. Her rapid ascension is just one indicator why she was elected by judges to be a 2025 McKnight’s Women of Distinction Rising Star.

Bouchard now oversees Touchmark’s marketing strategy and execution, public relations and media production. That includes monitoring event promotions, campaigns and television ads. She also collaborates with the director of wellness operations and the vice president of sales to maintain a cohesive, cross-departmental approach.

In 2024, Bouchard achieved impressive milestones by establishing a new standard for request for proposal submissions, which other leaders in the company have been adopting. Her efforts leading the 2024 marketing team resulted in more than 7,000 new leads for the community sales teams and decreased the percentage of lost or unqualified leads by 36%. She and her team also created an online ordering site for employees to purchase Touchmark-branded items, which employees were requesting.

Additionally, Bouchard took on the large undertaking of conducting a companywide employee satisfaction survey. The data from the survey allowed her to update agendas by adding follow-up questions, film training videos, create a guide, add categories for additional departments and update the template for trip reports. It all led to enhanced internal communications.

Bouchard’s dedication and growth have been big reasons for Touchmark’s success, Touchmark CEO Marcus Breuer said in nominating her for Women of Distinction recognition.

“Alison embodies everything a growing company seeks in a next-generation leader,” Breuer said.

Not surprisingly, Bouchard also has been recognized with other honors, perhaps mostly notably the Better Business Bureau Torch Award.
