GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - A small earthquake shook residents north of Denver early Friday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a 2.9 magnitude earthquake occurred about 3 miles southwest of Dacono at 6:13 a.m. Friday.
Many people living in the area reported feeling the earthquake, with over 400 reports being made to the USGS’s website.
Officials say an earthquake of that magnitude is not likely to cause any damage.
