Shocking Scandal Rocks Okadjakrom SHTS: Teacher Interdicted Over Viral Sex Tape!

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken decisive action against teachers involved in alleged sexual misconduct with female students, reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy and steadfast commitment to student safety and protection. In a recent development, Mr. Mfo Richard Tibetor, a teacher at Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School in the Jasikan Municipality of the Oti Region, has been interdicted. This action follows the widespread circulation of a disturbing viral video allegedly depicting him engaged in sexual misconduct with a female student.
The GES, in a statement dated October 2nd and signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations, unequivocally condemned the alleged conduct as “unacceptable, unethical, and a gross violation of the professional code of conduct for teachers.” With immediate effect, Mr. Tibetor has been barred from entering the school premises while comprehensive investigations are underway. The Service has assured parents, guardians, and the general public that the safety and protection of all students remain its topmost priority. It emphasized that any teacher found culpable of acts that compromise the dignity and well-being of learners will face the full rigours of the law in accordance with the GES Code of Conduct.
This incident at Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School is not an isolated one. It comes closely on the heels of a similar case at KNUST Senior High School in the Ashanti Region. In that instance, Mr. Charles Akwasi Aidoo, the Assistant Headmaster (Academic), was dismissed after a separate viral video showed him in a compromising situation with a female student. The GES views both these incidents with “utmost seriousness,” vowing to act decisively to safeguard learners and uphold the integrity of the teaching profession across all schools in the country.
A notable challenge in the ongoing investigation into the Okadjakrom case is locating the female student involved. Daniel Fenyi explained on JoyNews's The Pulse that the student had completed her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and had already left the school campus, making immediate access difficult. Despite this, the GES has affirmed that concerted efforts are being made to reach out to the student and her family to facilitate and support the investigative process. The interdiction of Mr. Tibetor underscores the Service’s unwavering stance against any form of misconduct that threatens the welfare of students, ensuring discipline, professionalism, and child protection.
