Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's Surprise Cameo Electrifies Dayoung's New Music Video!

Shiloh Jolie, the 19-year-old daughter of acclaimed actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, made an unexpected appearance in the teaser for K-pop singer Dayoung’s forthcoming music video, “What’s a Girl to Do.” The teaser, released on Thursday (April 2), instantly garnered attention as fans spotted Jolie briefly in the 30-second clip. Sporting a distinctive look with slicked-back hair, a lacy brown top, hoop earrings, and a lip ring, Shiloh was also seen participating in a choreographed sequence, surrounded by dancers as a pulsating beat played. The teaser concludes with the message, “She makes the first move,” alongside the announced release date of April 7.
Her casting for the music video was a result of an “open audition” held in the United States, according to a representative from Starship Entertainment who spoke to Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today. The agency clarified that performers from a dance crew called ‘Culture’ were among those who took part. Starship Entertainment strongly refuted any suggestions that Shiloh’s involvement was a public relations stunt, stating, “Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video. Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”
Following the teaser's release, numerous fans on social media platforms like X were quick to point out Shiloh’s strong resemblance to her mother, Angelina Jolie. Comments such as “Holy s—t, mamma’s good genes are sooooo strong” and “It’s the eyes and the lips for me. Pure Angelina energy” flooded online discussions, highlighting the striking genetic similarities.
This cameo is not Shiloh’s first public display of her artistic inclinations. In May 2024, she had previously showcased her dancing talent when choreographer Lil Kelaan Carter shared an Instagram video of her performing a solo to “Tanzania” by Uncle Waffles and Tony Duardo, featuring Sino Msolo and Boibizza. Carter had lauded her performance at the time, captioning the clip, “Her movement is crazy … Thank you for your energy @sh1lohj.”
