The Rare Beauty founder took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (January 22) to seemingly tease her return to the studio, sharing a clip of her wearing a white tank top and black headphones before she flips the camera around to reveal speakers and a large screen with a giant red heart emoji strategically placed over top, per People. She ended the video, which also included music that could be faintly heard in the background, by giving the camera a cheeky grin.

If Gomez is back in the studio, it would be her first new music in nearly a year. Her last single, "Love On," was released in February 2024, but she also provided her musical talents for the Oscar-nominated film Emilia Pérez, even earning a Golden Globe nomination for her performance.

Gomez's new post comes just over a month after she announced her engagement to after more than a year of dating, sweetly declaring that "forever begins now" while sharing photos of her gorgeous diamond ring.
