Sarah Ferguson's Business Empire Collapses Amid New Epstein Scandal Revelations

Six businesses linked to Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, are being wound down in the wake of the latest release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, as confirmed by Companies House documents. Sarah Ferguson, aged 64, is listed as the sole director of all six firms, which are due to be dissolved unless legal objections are raised. The companies facing dissolution include S Phoenix Events, Fergie's Farm, La Luna Investments, Solamoon Ltd, Philanthrapreneur Ltd, and Planet Partners Productions Ltd. All of these firms were established more than a decade ago and are primarily classified as dormant, showing little to no significant commercial activity.
Despite these closures, Ferguson remains an active director of three other businesses registered with Companies House: Ginger and Moss, a lifestyle brand; Coat, a motion picture production company; and Librasol, categorized under 'artistic creation'. The move to dissolve the six companies comes amid renewed scrutiny following the latest batch of documents linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which have brought her past interactions into sharp focus.
Company filings late last year show Ferguson changed her name across these businesses from 'Sarah Duchess of York' to 'Sarah Margaret Ferguson'. The Epstein files contain email exchanges that suggest Ferguson approached Epstein for advice and potential employment due to reported debts totaling £6 million, even while he was serving a jail sentence for soliciting prostitution from a minor or under house arrest in Florida. In a message sent in May 2010, she explicitly wrote: "But why I don't understand, don't you just get me to be your House Assistant. I am the most capable and desperately need the money. Please Jeffrey think about it."
Further email revelations from a September 21, 2011, exchange reportedly show Ferguson expressing: "I am at your service. Just marry me." In the same exchange, she later stated: "You have disappeared … I did not even know you were having a baby. It was soooo crystal clear to me that you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeply. More than you will know." Many of these significant exchanges are dated after Epstein's 2008 conviction for procuring a child for prostitution, adding to the controversy.
A source indicated that these emails caused irritation to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's associate who is now serving 20 years for child sex trafficking offenses and managed his properties. Maxwell was reportedly fully aware of Sarah's emails, with the source adding that "It annoyed the hell out of her. She never had much respect for Sarah. At one point Sarah was begging Jeffrey to marry her. It was a bit desperate and pathetic." Additional details from the Epstein files reveal Ferguson thanked the convicted sex offender for being the "brother" she "always wished for" in 2009, and "humbly" apologized to her "dear friend" in 2011, a month after publicly disowning him.
The impact of these revelations has extended beyond her businesses. Earlier this month, Ferguson's charity, Sarah's Trust, announced its closure "for the foreseeable future," and seven other charities, including the Teenage Cancer Trust, have cut ties and revoked her patronage. Furthermore, a new book was cancelled last autumn, resulting in thousands of copies being pulped, after she was stripped of her royal divorcee title of the Duchess of York. A representative for the former duchess has been approached for comment regarding these developments.
