Rita Ora's Bold Music Video Reveal: Taika Waititi's Cheeky Request for 'All Natural'

Pop superstar Rita Ora has recently offered a multifaceted glimpse into her professional and personal life, from new music to fashion collaborations, demanding party planning, and ambitious creative projects with her husband, Taika Waititi. Her latest single, “All Natural,” comes with a striking music video directed by Waititi himself, where Ora is seen dancing alone in an abandoned nightclub. The video features her in black shades, a white vest top, and Y-fronts. Ora comically recounted how Waititi insisted on capturing her “rear-markable” angles, with a cameraman initially feeling uncomfortable but eventually complying. She clarified that the oversized undies were chosen for comfort during dancing, ensuring she didn’t have to focus on “sucking it in,” and were not from her husband’s wardrobe.
Beyond her music, Ora has ventured into fashion with a notable collaboration with Primark. She expressed her enthusiasm for finding bargains, a sentiment rooted in her West London upbringing. The collection, which channels her signature style, aims to provide “high fashion for my community” at accessible prices, a mission she finds incredibly liberating and fulfilling. She was pictured sporting an £8 slogan T-shirt and £4.50 beanie hat from the range, emphasizing her commitment to making elevated fashion available to everyone.
On the personal front, Ora recently organized a star-studded 50th birthday bash for Taika Waititi on the Spanish island of Ibiza, with guests including A-listers like Kate Moss and Matt Damon. The event, which Taika shared glimpses of on Instagram showing guests in masks of his face and a giant pavlova, was by all accounts magical and emotional. However, Ora vowed never to organize another party again, admitting the immense stress involved in coordinating such a high-profile event. She expressed pride in how well it turned out, noting the effort to make it special for Waititi and his loved ones who flew in from New Zealand.
Creatively, Rita and Taika are collaborating on a new musical based on the infamous Fyre Festival, a disastrous 2017 music event. Ora also revealed her own long-term project: a musical documentary, for which she has been filming herself for the past eight years. This footage, capturing moments from flooded dressing rooms to last-minute outfit mishaps, will eventually be used to tell her story. She plans to bring their Fyre Festival musical to both the West End and Broadway, expressing excitement about the project with the tagline: “What’s the worst that can happen?”
Ora also shared insights into her health and wellness routine, revealing her habit of adding mushrooms to her coffee every morning, specifically using a friend’s brand for brain health benefits. Emphasizing self-care, she noted her consistent workout regimen and supplementing her diet with nutrients like collagen, acknowledging the importance of maintaining health as she gets older. This commitment to wellness appears to be paying off. Finally, Rita detailed her backstage demands for winding down after a gig: a bottle of red wine (Pinot Noir is now too light for her, preferring a glass of red and a super crispy Pinot Grigio with ice), along with snacks like blueberries, nuts, Haribos, sweet chilli crisps, and a fresh candle, replacing her previous request for flowers.
