UTSUNOMIYA (Japan) -  Reigning champions Amsterdam Rabobank (NED) ended pool play 2-0 on Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Utsunomiya Opener 2025 on April 26. 

TEAMS

AMSTERDAM RABOBANK (NED)

The Dutch stars came in with all the momentum after their historic 2024 season and they did not disappoint. 

They started with a handy 21 - 12 victory over qualifying draw side Tennoz. Talismanic Worthy de Jong put up a team-high 7, rounding off a collective offensive display from Amsterdam. 

They faced contending Vienna next and again came out victors. De Jong put up a whopping 10 points in the 21 - 16 win, cementing their spot in the knockout rounds on day 2 in resounding fashion. 

Ub, Toulouse and Miami also finished with a perfect record in pool phase. 

PLAYERS

MITCH HAHN (Miami)

Big Cinnamon was doing it all for team Miami in their unbeaten display on Day 1. He put up a team-high 8 points and 5 rebounds in their opener against Utsunomiya, imposing himself against the opposition with thunderous jams. 

He put up another 8 points, this time against Lithuanian side Raudondvaris to lead the American side to the knockout rounds with a pair of dominant performances.
