Red-hot Tamayo shoots Sakers to 2-0 lead in KBL finals
CARL Tamayo once again caught fire in the fourth quarter to guide Changwon LG Sakers to a 2-0 lead in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) Finals on Wednesday at Jamsil Students Gymnasium.

The Gilas Pilipinas stud shot 3-of-8 from deep, but operated inside came crunch time, as he also added seven rebounds and one steal to silence the Seoul crowd.
Also helping his cause was Yu Ki-sang who had 14 points built on four treys, including the last five points for the Sakers which fended off a late Knights rally.
Heo Il-young scored 12 points to add support in a game where Assem Marei only had 12 points, but still hauled down 14 rebounds and four assists.
Juan Gomez de Liano was a surprise pull for Seoul and immediately made impact, dropping 19 points on 3-of-8 shooting from distance, to go with four boards and two assists.
Those efforts, though, were for naught with the lone support coming from Jameel Warney’s 17 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.
Changwon will shoot for a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series this Friday at home at Changwon Gymnasium.
