Rapper's £11k Piercing Disaster: Devastated After Epic Toilet Flushing Fail

In the latest celebrity news, several stars have made headlines with personal revelations, career milestones, and upcoming projects. From Cardi B's expensive fashion mishap to Raye's journey to sobriety, and new ventures for Rebel Wilson and Amber Davies, the entertainment world is buzzing.

Rapper Cardi B recently shared an unfortunate anecdote about a costly body modification. She revealed that an £11,000 diamond, which she had accessorised a “butt crack piercing” with, accidentally fell out and was flushed down the toilet. Though she initially loved the look, she cautioned others against getting the piercing, citing the high cost and potential for loss. Cardi B also candidly admitted to being a “granny” when it comes to nightlife, often getting sleepy and wanting to leave clubs if the music isn't to her liking, even confessing to almost falling asleep in a club.

In the realm of cinematic projects, Rebel Wilson is set to direct and star in a new comedy titled 'Girl Group'. The film reportedly features a supergroup comprising girl band royalty, including Melanie C, Ashley Roberts, and Shaznay Lewis. Wilson's character, Tassie Young, is depicted as being kicked out of her own group’s reunion tour, leading her to attempt a comeback by coaching a group of teenage girls. However, she pushes them too far in the process. Sheridan Smith is also slated to join the cast, with filming having taken place in Croydon, south London, and Wilson spotted on stage at Reading Festival in character with The Kooks.

On the West End stage, Amber Davies, known for her success since winning Love Island in 2017, has landed the lead role of Elle Woods in 'Legally Blonde The Musical'. The UK tour is scheduled to run from February 7, 2026, to January 2, 2027. Davies, who posed with a chihuahua resembling Bruiser to promote the show, appeared to have already fully embraced the iconic pink-obsessed lawyer role, originally portrayed by Reese Witherspoon in the 2001 film. Despite the extensive travel required for the tour, Davies noted it won't be an issue for her relationship with actor boyfriend Ben Joyce, as both are accustomed to periods apart due to their demanding careers in the industry.

Love is also in the air for The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, who, along with fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel, is planning a wedding for next year. This news comes after his bandmate, George Daniel, had two weddings with Charli XCX earlier this year. Matty's mother, Denise Welch, confirmed the plans while attending the This Is Icon awards, expressing optimism for a “great night” but stating she has “no idea” about the wedding's location. When asked about Matty’s pop superstar ex, Taylor Swift, Denise politely declined to comment, stating she was “pleading the Fifth.”

Meanwhile, singer Raye has opened up about her personal struggles, revealing she has cut out alcohol after a battle with substance abuse. She previously disclosed using drugs to numb past trauma and is currently living a sober life, which she finds beneficial. Raye has marked her comeback with the release of her new track, “Where The Hell Is My Husband?”, the first single from her upcoming second album. During an intimate gig at Ronnie Scott’s, she reflected on her past, explaining her coping mechanisms for dealing with trauma and emphasizing her current improved state. Raye also shared her dream of one day owning a jazz club with a future husband.

Finally, Dua Lipa recently promoted the YSL Beauty fragrance Libre Vanille Couture amidst a public controversy. The singer faced accusations of parting ways with her agent, David Levy, who is Jewish, following his campaign against Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap performing at Glastonbury, which he believed fueled anti-Semitism. However, a spokesperson for WME, her talent agency, firmly refuted these claims. The statement clarified that David Levy was part of Dua Lipa's early career team from 2016-2019 and transitioned into an advisory role in 2019 when he moved from London. It was further stated that Levy completely removed himself from her projects, among others, earlier this year, making the accusation “categorically false.”
