Radford Family's Extravagant Trips: Mum-of-22 Sue Jets to Florida Again After £50k Easter Disney Bash

Sue and Noel Radford, stars of Channel 5’s "22 Kids and Counting," have once again embarked on a trip to Florida, visiting Walt Disney World before the school term begins in September. This recent journey follows closely on the heels of another extravagant "bumper" holiday the Morecambe-based family enjoyed in April, estimated to have cost them approximately £50,000 to £52,000 for Sue's 50th birthday celebrations.
The Radfords, known as Britain's biggest family with 22 children and numerous grandchildren, frequently share glimpses of their adventures. During their trips, they've been pictured enjoying Disney parks, wearing famous Disney ears, watching fireworks, and indulging in giant slushies. Sue, a mother of 22, has specifically revealed that Epcot is their favorite theme park, sharing photos of her family in front of its iconic sphere.
The scale of their holidays comes with significant financial implications. For their April trip, which included not only their own children but also all their grandchildren, the family is estimated to have spent a staggering £26,228 on flights alone, excluding excess charges or extra baggage. Park tickets for a seven-day Disney visit for their large group could amount to £20,065 per trip, although children under three are exempt from charges. When it comes to accommodation, the Radfords typically opt for villas to manage costs and keep their large brood together. Based on a previous Orlando villa tour they shared, renting three villas at £300 per night each would total £6,300 for a week, given that a single villa sleeps 15 and they would need to house up to 39 travelers.
Despite previously telling The Daily Mirror that they have been "feeling the pinch" financially, Sue and Noel have consistently shown a willingness to spare no expense for what they deem "holidays of a lifetime." Their income streams include their popular Channel 5 reality series and their family business, Radford's Pie Company. The family's ability to undertake multiple expensive trips, particularly two to Florida within months, highlights their dedication to creating memorable experiences for their large family, regardless of the substantial costs involved.
