Doha: Two crucial games will be held on Monday evening in the Qatar Basketball League for the 2024-25 season. Al Gharafa Sports Hall will host the second round of the final series between Al Arabi and Al Rayyan at 7:00 PM, in addition to the third-place game between Al Sadd and Al Ahli, which will kick off at 5:00 PM.
Al Arabi, the defending champions, are seeking their second consecutive victory in the best-of-three final series, after defeating Al Rayyan in the first match 81-78, bringing them a significant step closer to retaining their title for the second consecutive season.
Al Rayyan, on the other hand, are entering the game under the slogan "Last Chance," as they have no choice but to win to force a third, playoff game next Thursday, April 10, to maintain their hopes of winning the title.
The team is counting on the brilliance of their American star, Justin Furman, who was the top scorer in the first match with 26 points. The Al Sadd-Al Ahli matchup is an opportunity for both teams to finish the season on the podium by claiming third place and the bronze medal, following a strong tournament run.
