: Both present and past Pwani University students have moved mourners with beautiful tributes during the burial of blogger Albert Ojwang.

The arrival of Ojwamg's body in Homa Bay brought the county to a standstill; right from the airport, people had arrived to see their son, who died in police custody.

The body was first taken to Mawego Police Station, where irate mourners unfortunately burned the police station before leaving with the body for a sizzling disco matanga session. they were demanding justice for their fallen comrade.

On July 4, the students took the podium, and they had planned well to have various leaders speak, with the recurring theme being the demand for justice.

"Stop killing us. We are sending our cobsolences to the family and the larger Rachuocho. Albert don't sleep," said elvis Ogalo.

On the dais, the charged group chanted slogans, with the main one being Alberto Power and moved a lot of mourners.

On his part. Omollo Ochola, the chairperson of Pwani University Alumni group, said that Albert' death will be the last of its kind.

"No more deaths under our watch," he said.

Another leader said that they are planning a day with the police to hit their heads in jail until they get justice.

The youngsters want all the investigations by the Independent Police Oversight Authority (IPOA) to be released. They also said that everyone, including the Deputy Inspector General, should be in jail because he was the complainant.

"Lagat must resign unconditionally; he should not tell that he has stepped aside yet he is the main complainant in this issue. What you saw in Nairobi, we are not going to rest, said one of the leaders.

"We are soon going to celebrate Saba Saba, we will do Saba saba for Albert Ojwang," he said.

The Pwani University leader said that they would not allow politicians to speak because of their supposed silence after the death of Albert Ojwang. They, however, spoke later on.

Meanwhile, Ojwang's widow touched Kenyans with her courage at her beloved husband's burial in Kakoth, Kasipul Kabondo.

Speaking in Dholuo, Nevnina Onyango shared reasons why she would join the July 7, Saba Saba Day protests.

Ojwang's widow's words moved Kenyans to tears, with many vowing to honour the slain blogger.
