Political Firestorm Erupts! Linda Mwananchi Warns Ruto Amidst Kisumu Rally Tensions
Siaya Governor James Orengo has issued a direct warning to President William Ruto against any attempt to weaken or take over the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). Speaking to journalists in Kisumu, Governor Orengo firmly stated that the party remains anchored in its founding ideals and leadership. He emphasized that the movement within ODM is determined to defend the party’s identity, legacy, and political direction against any such attempts.
This warning precedes the planned Linda Wanainchi rallies in Vihiga and Kisumu, organized by the ODM-linked Linda Mwananchi team. All eyes are now on Kisumu, where the faction is preparing to hold a significant rally. Kisumu is recognized as a key political stronghold, long associated with the late Raila Odinga, and control of this region is viewed as a crucial symbolic and strategic win amidst an intensifying battle for political influence among competing players.
