Political Earthquake: Kwankwaso Issues Ultimatum, Sets Stiff Conditions for APC Comeback!

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections and the party's National Leader, has stated that the NNPP is open to rejoining the All Progressives Congress (APC). However, this potential return is strictly contingent upon what he termed “strong promises” and clear agreements ensuring tangible benefits and recognition for his political movement and party members.
Kwankwaso made these conditions known during meetings, including one at his Miller Road residence in Kano where he received Buhari Bakwana, a former political adviser to ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, along with APC members from all 44 local government areas of Kano State. He reiterated these sentiments to NNPP stakeholders in Kano, emphasizing the importance of securing the future and positions of NNPP's elected officials and structures nationwide.
Recalling his pivotal role in the formation of the APC in 2013, Kwankwaso stressed the significant burdens and political persecution he and other heavyweights endured. He highlighted that they were among the first seven governors to declare support for the new party, facing attacks from agencies like the ICPC, EFCC, and police to thwart their plans.
