Jakub Kobel (190-PG-1998) had a great game in the last round for Weegree AZS Politechnika Opolska and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 34.
The 26-year old playmaker had the game-high 28 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Opole in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pelplin (#7, 19-15) 102-87. Opole is placed at 14th position in Polish 1Liga. Opole is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-20 record. In the team's last game Kobel had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Opole, through which he has constantly improved. Kobel has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 6.9apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Opole's star - young swingman Dominik Rutkowski (194-F/G-1998). 102-87 over the higher-ranked Pelplin (#7, 19-15) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Opole to move up to 14th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-20 record. Rutkowski is well-known by Opole fans and together with Jakub Kobel they both established positions among team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Dawid Zagula (185-PG-1996) of

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
