American Forward Victor Law (201-F-1995, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 48.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Hokkaido L. (#5, 18-31) with 25-point margin 93-68. It allowed Golden Kings to consolidate first place in the Japanese B1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ryukyu has a very solid 36-13 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Law had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Golden Kings and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Victor Law averages this season 16.4ppg and 8.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Dwayne Evans (201-F-1992, agency: Pensack Sports) of

Hiroshima Dragonflies. Evans had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Dragonflies to edge slightly higher-ranked Nagoya DD (#5, 26-23) 87-82. Hiroshima D.'s 5th position in Central has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 23-26 record. Evans is one of the most experienced players at Hiroshima D. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Yoeli Childs (203-PF-1998) of

Saga Ballooners (#7). Childs scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Ballooners, leading his team to a 80-79 win against slightly lower-ranked Shiga L-Stars (#8, 7-41). The chances of Saga B. not to end season at such low position in West, however are less than slim as they have already lost 32 games, recording just seventeen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Childs could try to bring Saga B.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Childs has individually a great season in Japan. After 47 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.5ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 9.7rpg (7th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
