American Dererk Pardon (203-C-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Altiri Chiba and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 56.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Aomori W. (#6, 20-36) 86-75. It allowed Chiba to consolidate first place in the Japanese B2 League. Chiba has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 53-3. It's Pardon's second year at Chiba and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Northwestern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Pardon is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 66.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Aaron White (206-F-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of

Toyama Grouses. White impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Grouses lost that game 67-80 to slightly higher-ranked Shinshu BW (35-20). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in East. Toyama G. still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 35-20 record is not bad at all. White is a newcomer at Toyama G. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American James Ennis (201-F/G-1990, agency: Diamond Sports) of second-ranked

Kagoshima Rebnise. Ennis showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Ennis' great performance the Kagoshima lost 80-85 to #4 ranked Kumamoto V.. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Ennis has a very solid season. In 23 games in Japan he scored 12.6ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jamel McLean (203-C-1988) of Kumamoto V. - 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Perrin Buford (198-F-1994) of Shinshu BW - 28 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists
6. Rapolas Ivanauskas (208-F-1998) of Fukushima - 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Mitchell Watt (208-C-1989) of Toyama G. - 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Andrew Randall (198-F-1990) of Fukuoka R. - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
9. TJ Holyfield (203-PF-1995) of Yamagata - 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Mikael Hopkins (206-F-1993) of Fukushima - 22 points and 14 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
