The actress’s involvement adds a new layer of complexity to the ongoing conflict, demanding immediate action from Pastor Okafor regarding his lawsuit against VDM.

In a direct video statement shared on her Instagram page, Ogala explicitly called for Pastor Okafor to withdraw his legal proceedings against VeryDarkMan and to issue a public apology within 24 hours. She sternly warned that any failure to comply with her demands would lead to the “exposure” of further undisclosed secrets she claims to possess. Addressing Pastor Okafor directly, she challenged him: “Is it true that Pastor Chris Okafor’s lawyer has filed a lawsuit against VeryDarkMan? If it is, I’m giving Pastor Chris Okafor not more than 24 hours to apologise.”

The genesis of this intense legal battle lies in defamation proceedings initiated by Pastor Okafor’s legal team against VDM. This action followed a series of viral interviews conducted by VeryDarkMan with a woman identified as Miss Chi, who publicly claimed to be Pastor Okafor’s biological daughter. Pastor Okafor vehemently denies these allegations, asserting that DNA evidence refutes Miss Chi's paternity claims.

Doris Ogala has characterized the lawsuit as a significant strategic error on the part of the clergyman, predicting that the legal action is likely to backfire.
