Moreover, Peacemaker Season 2 is also said to connect directly to Superman and future events. Projects like Lanterns, Supergirl, and Clayface show that Gunn is building a colorful universe, filled with more grounded characters and even darker stories.

What makes all of this work perfectly is Gunn’s patience, as he wants each project to stand on its own and still be part of the bigger picture. Projects only move ahead when the script is strong. For him, the story is more important than speed. Even though there’s a six-year roadmap, he wants each project to be perfect.
