Omar Courtz Storms Billboard Charts with Top 5 Debut of 'Por Si Mañana No Estoy'

Omar Courtz has achieved a notable milestone with his sophomore album, "Por Si Mañana No Estoy," securing his second top 10 appearance on both Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Top Latin Rhythm Albums charts. The highly anticipated set debuted impressively at No. 3 on these charts, which were dated March 7. Furthermore, it claimed a respectable No. 5 position on the Independent Albums chart, solidifying Courtz's growing presence in the music industry.

Released on February 19 via Mr. 305 Records/Rimas, "Por Si Mañana No Estoy" immediately garnered significant attention. During its tracking week of February 20-26, the album accumulated 25,000 equivalent album units in the United States. The overwhelming majority of this initial success stemmed from robust streaming activity, with the 18-track collection amassing an impressive 26.6 million official streams across its songs. Traditional album sales and track-equivalent units contributed minimally to the overall figure.

This strong streaming performance also propelled "Por Si Mañana No Estoy" to a No. 18 debut on the Top Streaming Albums chart, marking Omar Courtz's first entry on this particular chart. The album’s performance on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart further underscores its impact, bowing at No. 22. This represents a significant improvement over his debut album, "Primera Musa," which had previously peaked at No. 8 on Top Latin Albums and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 101 in December 2024, demonstrating Courtz's evolving artistry and growing commercial appeal.

Beyond album charts, Omar Courtz exhibited a dominant presence on the Hot Latin Songs chart with the arrival of "Por Si Mañana No Estoy." An astounding 11 titles from the album simultaneously landed on this chart, which uniquely combines streaming activity, digital sales, and radio airplay. This achievement places Courtz in an exclusive cohort of Latin rhythm male artists—including industry heavyweights like Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Ozuna, Anuel AA, J Balvin, and Daddy Yankee—who have managed to chart 11 or more songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart in a single week.

His impressive collection of new entries on the Hot Latin Songs chart includes: No. 17, “Forever Tu Gantel,” featuring Ñengo Flow, which alone secured 3.5 million official streams during the tracking period; No. 23, “Wo Oh Oh,” with ROA; No. 29, “Si Estás Con Alguien”; No. 30, the album's title track, “Por Si Mañana No Estoy”; No. 34, “$uelta Gatita $uelta,” with Dei V & Clarent; No. 36, “What U Need? (SexPlaylist 2),” with Myke Towers; No. 38, “Koko”; No. 39, “L a k e n o s h i”; No. 40, “VAMOaCOCHI”; No. 43, “El Mundo Se Va A Acabar,” with KARBeats; and finally, No. 49, “SUSU.”

On the global stage, "Forever Tu Gantel," featuring Ñengo Flow, also made its mark by debuting at No. 176 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, predominantly fueled by its strong streaming numbers, registering 10.5 million streams worldwide. Concurrently, the track opened at No. 142 on the Global Excl. U.S. list, accumulating 8.2 million streams from outside the United States. All these charts, dated March 7, updated on Billboard.com on Tuesday, March 3.
